Wide receiver Alec Pierce showed off his deceptive speed in the game with three catches for 134 yards and a touchdown. 21. Arizona Cardinals (2-3): The Cardinals shocked the Bay Area with a 24-23 win over the 49ers. 26. Las Vegas Raiders (2-3): The Raiders lost in Denver on Sunday and quarterback Gardner Minshew had a big hand in the defeat. With the Raiders leading 10-3 and at the ball at the Broncos 5 yard-line on a first-and-goal, Minshew overthrew a wide-open Brock Bowers and was intercepted by cornerback Patrick Surtain who returned it for 100 yards for a tying touchdown. Minshew will have to compete with his backup this week for the starting job, according to head coach Antonio Pierce, which is another way of saying he does not have a starting QB.
