In April, the Culver City Public Works Department began a 15-week maintenance project on the Ballona Creek bike path. Work will occur once a week on Thursdays from 6:30 AM to 4 PM. Crews will be performing the following task while on the path:
Graffiti removal, Trash removal, Marking of dead trees (they will tie a yellow ribbon around any trees so the City’s arborist can give the go-ahead with removal) Underbrush maintenance including clearing low-lying vegetation shrubs, vines, and weeds,
The Maintenance Schedule for this month’s locations is:
May 1 – Higuera Avenue to Duquesne Avenue
May 8 – Higuera Avenue to Duquesne Avenue
May 15 – Higuera Avenue to Duquesne Avenue
May 22 – Duquesne Avenue to Jackson Avenue
Maintenance is scheduled to be complete July 24, 2025.
