Ballona Creek Renaissance announces an art event that not only honors one of our founding members, Artist Lucy Blake-Elahi, but will also support our efforts to improve the watershed area of Ballona Creek. BCR celebrates more than 25 years of regional work including creek cleanups, native plant garden installations and single use plastic bans. The four artists are Ben Bregman, Christophe Cassidy, Patrcia Koehler, and Jeff Morrical.

BCR celebrates more than 25 years of regional work to clean, green, educate and beautify the watershed area of Ballona Creek. We host multiple creek cleanups annually which results in up to 3 tons of trash diversion and up to 450 volunteers. BCR is one of the regional partners instrumental in placing the first trash collector in North America called “007 The Interceptor” at the mouth of Ballona Creek. The Interceptor has already cleared 180+ tons of trash!
