At approximately 3:41 am on Saturday, December 7, Culver City Police received a call report of a shooting that occurred near Blair Hills Park. Police quickly arrived on the scene and located the victim. The victim had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Medical aid was rendered, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Initial investigation indicates that the victim was parked in his vehicle on the east side of the 5900 block of Wrightcrest Drive next to Blair Hills Park when two suspects approached the car. The suspects opened the driver and passenger side doors to the victim’s vehicle and demanded the victim’s bag. One suspect shot the victim in the leg. The suspects took the victim’s property and ran from the scene. The suspects are believed to have fled the area in a black four-door sedan.
Both suspects are described as black, male, adults, 5’9-5’10, approximately 18-25 years old.
