Cash Stolen During ATM Robbery



On Thursday, February 20, at approximately 11:43 PM, Culver City Police responded to a radio call of an armed robbery that occurred at an ATM location on the 5500 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. Culver City Police arrived quickly, requested treatment for the victim, who had suffered minor injuries, and searched the area for the suspects involved.

Initial investigation indicates that at around 11:39 PM, a male adult victim withdrew money from the ATM when two suspects approached him. The first suspect pointed a black handgun at the victim’s forehead and demanded his money and then punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. Once the victim was on the ground, S/1 and the second suspect both repeatedly assaulted him. The suspects took approximately $400 in cash from the victim and fled on foot towards the alley and out of sight.

The suspect is a male, Hispanic, approximately 5’9″, thin build, wearing a red and black jacket with a white stripe through the middle and black pants.
