Grupo Folklorico Tzintzuni teaches our kids about the richness of Mexican Culture and its world influence.The group is under the direction

of Victor Herrera, who has been teaching at Mar Vista Family Center for about 7 years. The students are from local CCUSD and LAUSD schools.

On Music Stage stage Mighty Love ft. legendary vocalist Starr Light takes you

on a fantastic voyage through

the decades performing classic to contemporary Soul, RnB, Funk & Dance Hits. Their show has a vibe and energy that excites audiences as they share their deep knowledge of songs and mighty love of music.

Angel City Chorale

11:15 AM-12:00 PM

On the Music Stage Angel City Chorale (ACC) exists to unite people of

widely divergent backgrounds, ethnicities, socioeconom- ic and age groups through music to learn from each oth- er and contribute to the greater good. Voice teacher and singer Sue Fink formed a choir of her 18 voice students in 1993 that was all ages, races, genders, socioeconom- ic & LGBTQ+status and musical genres

LA Swing Dance Posse

12:00 PM- 12:30 PM

On Dance Floor

Los Angeles Swing Dance Posse Group seeks to pre- serve, promote, perform, and teach the vernacular jazz

dances from the 1800s to the present. Performing Savoy and Hollywood Swing, Charleston, Lindy Hop and tap.

The Tokens

12:45 PM – 1:45 PM

On the Music Stage Throughout the sixties THE TOKENS wrote, produced and recorded some of

music’s most well known songs. Besides their smash recording of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” they also had hits with “Tonight I Fell in Love,” “I Hear Trumpets Blow,” and “Portrait of My Love.”

Grupo Folklorico La Rosa

1:45 PM – 2:15 PM

On the Dance Floor Grupo Folklorico La Rosa

was founded in the year 1990 by Maria Antonia Villalobos.

In 1997, the name La Rosa was adopted in dedication and remembrance of Maria’s mother.
