It’s Official – Council Race Qualifies 7 Candidates – Culver City Crossroads



The City of Culver City’s nomination period for City Council candidates has now ended. The following potential candidates have submitted nomination papers with at least 20 and no more than 30 signatures:

Nancy Barba
Bryan “Bubba Fish
Adrian M. Gross
Yasmine-Imani McMorrin
Denice Renteria
Albert Vera
Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin

These candidates will become qualified to appear on the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election ballot, if all documentation and at least 20 signatures are verified. The official list of qualified candidates is expected to be posted no later than August 16, 2024.

Voters will elect three City Council Members in the upcoming General Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Those elected are expected to be sworn into office on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the regularly scheduled City Council Meeting.

City of Culver City Council Members each serve for a term of four years and are elected at large. Current Council Members may be elected to serve a second, consecutive four-year term. Each year, City Council Members select one of their members to serve as Mayor for a year, with the term beginning after the annual City Council reorganization.

Election/City Clerk Office hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, except alternate Fridays, when City Hall is closed.
