RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the City Council adopt a resolution approving the Final Map for Tract Number 71799 consisting of a one lot subdivision creating 30 residential airspace units at 11955 Washington Boulevard.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

On April 2, 2012, the City Council approved Tentative Tract Map No. 71799 (TTM No. 71799) with an expiration date of April 2, 2015.  On July 11, 2013, Assembly Bill No. 116 was approved by the Governor, which automatically extended the expiration date of Tentative Tract Map No. 71799 to April 2, 2017.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works has reviewed the Final Map for Tract Number 71799 and approved the map for mathematical accuracy, survey analysis, title information, and for compliance with the Subdivision Map Act.  The City’s Public Works Director/City Engineer and Planning Manager have certified that this map conforms substantially to the approved tentative map and is compliance the all provisions of the City’s Subdivision Ordinances applicable at the time of approval of the tentative map.

FISCAL ANALYSIS

There is no fiscal impact to the approval of the Final Map for Tract No. 71799.
