RECOMMENDATION:

 

Staff recommends the City Council adopt an Ordinance repealing and replacing Sections 3.07.005 through 3.07.095 of the Culver City Municipal Code regarding the City’s Purchasing and Contracting System (Attachment 1).

 

 

BACKGROUND / DISCUSSION:

 

At its meeting of March 26, 2018, the City Council (by a vote of 5-0) introduced, for first reading, the proposed Ordinance repealing and replacing Sections 3.07.005 through 3.07.095 of the Culver City Municipal Code regarding the City’s Purchasing and Contracting System.

Included in the proposed Ordinance are the corrections to Section 3.07.025.A, which were read into the record prior to introduction. 

The proposed Ordinance is presented for adoption.

 

 

FISCAL ANALYSIS:

 

No additional funding is required for adoption and implementation of the proposed ordinance amendment and resolution. Implementation of these proposals is expected to result in significant savings in staff time and increased efficiency.
