RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends that the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission observe the administration of the Oath of Office to Maggie Peters, newly appointed PRCS Commission Member.

 

 

BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION

 

ADMINISTRATION OF THE OATH OF OFFICE

 

 

On November 13, 2023, the City Council appointed Maggie Peters to PRCS Commission Seat Number 5 for a partial term expiring June 30, 2025.  To begin her term, the PRCS Commission Secretary will administer the Constitutional and Loyalty Oaths to the newly appointed Commissioner, both parties will sign duplicate originals of the document, and Commissioner Peters will retain one of the signed documents.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this discussion.
