RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Finance Advisory Committee (FAC) dissolve the current City Council Engagement Ad Hoc Subcommittee.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION

The City Council Engagement Ad Hoc Subcommittee was established at the March 8, 2023 Regular Meeting with the goal of identifying ways to broaden the relationship between the FAC and the City Council.

The City Council Engagement Ad Hoc Subcommittee consists of Committee Members Jones, Lachman, Lachoff.

Since the Subcommittee was formed the City Council has requested the Committee’s input on Cannabis Distribution Tax, presented the FAC with a commendation in honor of its 10-year anniversary, and approved the FAC’s updated Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Work Plan.

The ad hoc subcommittee may thus be dissolved.
