RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution appointing a Delegate and Alternate Delegate as part of the General Membership of the Independent Cities Association (ICA) and rescinding Resolution No. 2024-R003.
BACKGROUND/ DISCUSSION
The City of Culver City has been a member of the ICA for many years, and it is required that the City Council appoint a Delegate and an Alternate Delegate to that organization.
The current representatives to the ICA are, Council Member Eriksson, Delegate, and Council Member Vera, Alternate Delegate.
At the June 24, 2024 City Council Meeting, Council Member Eriksson announced that he would be leaving the ICA Board and requested and received consensus to agendize appointment of a new Culver City Delegate and Alternate Delegate to the ICA Board.
