BACKGROUND
In accordance with the Section VI. of the updated City Council Policy No. 3002 titled, City Commissions, Boards and Committees; Appointed Representatives to Outside Agencies and Boards, “[p]eriodically, but no less than biannually, each CBC shall submit to the City Council a written report on their respective activities.” This report is separate from City department workplans developed in conjunction with the annual fiscal year budget.
Staff prepared a draft summary report of actions of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee based on minutes and agendas from meetings between January - June of 2024. The report also included a list of potential work plans for the Committee to be undertaken from July - December 2024.
At the July 18, 2024 meeting, the Committee reviewed and discussed the report and requested changes to its work plans. Staff prepared a revised draft including changes requested and updating subcommittees. Staff transmitted the revised draft to City Council in August 2024.
Staff recommends the Committee review and approve the revised draft and retroactively authorize transmittal as final to City Council.

(1) Approve the biannual report of activities between January - June 2024 as revised; and
(2) Authorize transmittal to City Council.
