LOS ANGELES RAMS AGREE TO TERMS WITH RUNNING BACK RONNIE RIVERS



The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to terms with running back RONNIE RIVERS on a one-year contract, the team announced today.

Rivers has appeared in 34 regular season games (two starts) with the Rams over the last three seasons (2022-24) and recorded 63 rushes for 249 yards as well as 15 receptions for 85 receiving yards. He also has seen action in three postseason contests and tallied six rushes for 17 yards along with three receptions for 35 receiving yards.

Rivers joined the Rams as an undrafted free agent after playing collegiately at Fresno State, where he started 41 games and left as the school record holder in career touchdowns (52), rushing touchdowns (40), receiving touchdowns by a running back (12), receiving yards as a running back (1,417) and receptions as a running back (150). He also finished third in program history in rushing yards and fourth in all-purpose yards (5,208). Rivers was a First-Team All-Mountain West selection (2020), Second-Team All-Mountain West selection (2019) and led the conference in touchdowns with 16 his junior season.
