WOODLAND HILLS, CALIF. – The Los Angeles Rams have re-signed offensive lineman ALARIC JACKSON to a three-year contract extension, the team announced today.
Jackson was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Rams following the 2021 NFL Draft and has appeared in 46 games (38 starts), including 41 regular-season matchups (35 starts) and five postseason contests (three starts).
With 2,419 snaps (including playoffs), Jackson ranks seventh amongst Rams players and second among offensive linemen since 2021, trailing Rob Havenstein. Since becoming the full-time starting left tackle in 2023, Jackson has tallied the fifth-most starts among offensive linemen who joined the league in 2021.
In 2024, Jackson helped anchor an offensive line that ranked first in penalties per game (5.56), sixth in sacks allowed (31), tied for sixth in quarterback sack rate (5.5 percent), tied for seventh in hurries allowed (132), and 11th in pressures allowed (191). The offensive line did not allow a sack in four consecutive weeks (Weeks 14-17) for the first time since 2013, tying for the longest streak in franchise history.
Among offensive tackles who played at least 700 snaps this season, he ranked ninth in hurries allowed (15), tied for 12th in sacks allowed (three), and tied for 14th in pressures allowed (22). Jackson did not allow a sack since Week 11 (including playoffs) and did not allow a quarterback hit since Week 13 (including playoffs).
Jackson has played 900 or more regular season snaps in consecutive seasons and is one of two Rams offensive linemen (Kevin Dotson) to accomplish the feat. This extension marks the first contract extension Jackson has signed with the Rams.
