The City Council invite public participation in a Public Hearing for the following:

The City proposes to implement Objective Design Standards for all residential and mixed-use development in accordance with requirements of State Law and General Plan programs. This includes a Zoning Code Amendment to incorporate the standards by reference and to ensure consistency between the Zoning Code and proposed standards (Case No. P2024-0310-ZCA)

At the regular city council meeting. Th Public can attend in-person or virtually via Zoom at City Hall in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers, 9770 Culver Blvd, Culver City on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 7 PM.

The hearing is for the City Council to review and receive public input on the Objective Design Standards and related Zoning Code Amendment. Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, Section 15061(b)(3), the Project is exempt because it can be seen with certainty that the Project to implement Objective Design Standards and amend the Zoning Code will have a significant effect on the environment. In addition, pursuant to Section 15168(c)(2), the proposed does not require additional review under CEQA as it is consistent with the Final Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the General Plan and Zoning Code Update certified in August 2024 (SCH# 2022030144) and would not result in new impacts.
