The Eaton and Palisades fires have been devastating for so many. And while we can’t rebuild houses or replace belongings, we can help with a refurbished bike to ease transportation and recreation concerns.
This year, we are committing our Adopt-a-Bike resources to helping victims of the recent fires by supplying a newly refurbished bike – along with a helmet, lock and lights – to those who need them most.
That transportation will be an ongoing for need for displaced families, who already have enough to deal with. But replacing a bike or providing free recreation for their kids should not be one of them.
