West Los Angeles College (14-9, 6-3) delivered a dominant performance at home, securing a 71-41 victory over LA Valley College (11-13, 5-5) on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats controlled the game for all four quarters, using suffocating defense and balanced scoring to cruise to the win.

Kennedee Rankin got things started with a layup at 9:42, and Aliyah Young followed with a three-pointer at 6:36 to extend the lead. Rankin opened the scoring with a layup at 9:42, and after a series of defensive stops, Young converted a fast-break layup at 7:06 to make it 41-25. West LA’s defense forced multiple turnovers, leading to easy transition baskets, including a layup by Rankin at 3:21, which pushed the lead to 54-25 entering the fourth quarter.
West LA never let up in the final period, stretching the lead to 30+ points. Diagne hit a putback layup at 8:11, and Young drained a deep three at 6:07 to push the score to 64-33. Ferguson added a three at 5:17, and Alana Young knocked down another at 4:30, extending the lead to 70-37.
