Members of the Westside circle White People 4 Black Lives, the LA Chapter of SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice), has invited eight community leaders to sign the Pledge to Protect & Resist to signal their commitment to show up for targeted communities and refuse MAGA’s authoritarian agenda.
On Saturday, March 1 we’ll be gathering at Culver City City Hall from 11am-12pm to support leaders who sign the pledge, stepping into a powerful legacy of protection and resistance, to hear from community members about why this is so important, and to invite local congresspeople, county supervisors, and city council members into this work with us.
