RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration & Juneteenth Celebration Advisory Committee Review the Role and Responsibilities of the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration & Juneteenth Celebration Advisory Committee during Juneteenth Event 2025.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
On May 16, 2025, the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration & Juneteenth Celebration Advisory Committee members discussed and chose their roles and responsibility during the Juneteenth celebration event (attachment 1).
All roles and responsibilities are subject to the direction and discretion of the Event Manager Edgar Varela. The description provided are illustrative examples and may be adjusted based on specific needs and scope of the event.
